About Soft-Pak

In 1975, our first product was developed for a diverse client base consisting primarily of financial and distribution companies, including three waste hauling companies. In the 1980’s, the decision was made to focus on developing a completely new software solution specifically for the waste industry. We have continued in our dedication to this industry and consistantly strive to be on the leading edge. Our customer driven philosophy has allowed private and municipal haulers to grow, become more efficient, and increase margins while leveraging an initial investment. Note that many of our clients have been using the Soft-Pak family of products for more than 18 years.

Soft-Pak is used by some of the largest hauling operations in the world; but did you know we have products designed for the single user (e-Pak Lite) that are easy to operate and require minimal hardware investment. Whether you are a large municipal hauler, a landfill, a recycling company, or a traditional “top 20” industry hauler, we have customers in every segment of the waste industry.

Company & Software Philosophy
From our initial entry into the waste industry, Soft-Pak has consistently approached the challenges of the industry from a completely different direction than our competition. Our belief is that generally accepted accounting principles must be the cornerstone of any software product.

The financial statements must reflect the results of the organization’s efforts. To this end we have always believed that standard accounting principles are absolutely critical in ALL areas of a solid software solution. From our initial release we have steadfastly adhered to this belief and incorporate it into every program we write. If you are going to route a customer three times a week, then the software — not the user — should assure proper billing of that customer!

Through the years we have strengthened our products by listening to our customers and incorporating their needs as standard enhancements. Whenever our customers request enhancement that is broadly applicable to the industry, we incorporate that change into our base product, allowing all customers to share the benefits.
