Software Sales Manager

Soft-Pak has been in business 20+ years and is recognized as the leading business critical software solution for the waste industry. We are in search of a Western Regional Sales Manager (based in San Diego) to manage our existing customers while prospecting and selling new accounts. 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing client base within the Western U.S.
  • Provide web based and on site demonstration for existing and prospective clients.
  • Call into new and existing accounts to uncover additional opportunities.
  • Manage lengthy sales cycle for large prospects. Coordinate partner meetings, conference calls, demonstrations and all customer requests.
  • Create proposal, sales quotes, answer occasional RFP and provide contracts when customers request it.
  • Consistently update content management software
  • Participate in weekly sales conference call
  • Forecast weekly sales reports
  • Participate in trade shows and users group meetings.
  • Learn and understand a new software and industry.
  • Suggest new marketing techniques, be creative in your approach.

Job Requirements:

  • 4 years+ experience in technology sales. Waste Management industry experience a PLUS.
  • An energetic sales person that is eager to learn new software / industry.
  • Good listener with solid communication and presentation skills. 
  • Experienced with web based technologies.
  • Ability to travel through out the territory when needed.

Compensation:
