The Collector Calls Review option is where users can go in order to review customer activity and to make phone calls requesting payment.
From the i-Pak Collections Processing Menu, select Collector Calls Review and the Collector Calls Review selection screen will be displayed.
Enter the Collector Group Id to be used. Only customers that fall into that Collector Group (based on the Letter Setup Master) will be displayed on the next screen.
For those companies not using multiple Collector Groups, we suggest you enter *DEFAULT into this selection field.
Press and the Delinquent Customer Scan screen will be displayed.
This is a scan of all the delinquent customers found when this file was built. It is sorted by Balance Due (largest at the top) and then by Company/Customer#.
Position To
You can position the file to a certain Balance Due or directly to a specific Company - Customer#.
Otherwise, you can select a customer from the scan by double clicking on the line item. This will bring you into that customers profile screen. From there, you can go into any Customer Service screen that you have access to and do any work needed (such as writing notes, comments, call back date, etc). Each time a user goes into the Customer Profile from this screen, the work file will be updated with the date & time of review.
Scroll Bar
Using the scroll bar at the bottom, you can see all of the aging buckets as well as any Unapplied $'s that the customer may have on file.
Toggle View
You can click on to display the Next Call Back Date, Last Letter Date, and Last Review Date, Time, and User Id.
Click on to return to the regular view.
Been Reviewed
When you return to the Collector Calls Review scan after reviewing a customer, that line in the scan will be displayed in a unique color. This will allow you to quickly see who has already been reviewed and who hasn’t.
Updating the File With Current Payments
During Day End the current dollar amounts (Balance Due and Aging Buckets) will get updated. The starting amounts will remain in this file for reference. When selecting the Group to review, the program rechecks the Letter Setup Master to determine if the customer in this file is STILL delinquent. If the account is no longer delinquent, they will not be displayed on the Call Review scan.
You can also update the current dollar amounts on-demand by selecting 'Upd Collector Calls w/Current $Amts' (Option 21) on the Collections File Maintenance menu.
