The user needs access to the System Administration menu in order to use this option. They do not need access to the Dayend/Monthend functions and they do not need to be set up as a System Administrator.There may be times when you select to run Monthend accidentally or just need to cancel the job from processing. If the Monthend job has not started processing yet, then this menu option will allow you to cancel the request and stop it from running. Monthend cannot be cancelled once it has started running.
From the System Administration menu, select option # 54 Cancel Monthend Job.

Once you select this option, the following screen will appear:
This screen tells you which dataset you are working with and asks if you wish to continue. Click .jpg){kind=small}
for Yes to continue with your request to cancel Monthend and press 
to move to the next screen.
You should then get a window telling you that your request has Completed Normally.
Press to Continue onto the System Administration menu.
If no Monthend job is found, then you will get this message:
Press to Continue onto the System Administration menu.
