This option was created for times when something happens that kicks users out of the system. Things such as a temporary power outage or loss of internet connection to the main site. When users exit out of the system incorrectly, not all of the flags get unchecked and they could still show as being signed onto the system.
If you select this option, the system will go out and verify which users are actually signed on and which are not, then reset the user count so it accurately displays how many users are signed on. This should stop you from getting any incorrect "Max Number of Users are Signed On" messages.
If your users are having issues with reaching the Max Number of Users and you do not think that message is correct, try this option. If they still get the Max Number of Users message, then proceed to the next menu option to see who is actually signed onto your system.
